Youth Gathering Info/Rules

This gathering is designed to create a healthy environment where the youth can build friendships, enjoy fellowship, worship together, and continue growing spiritually as a youth family.
This event will include games, food, worship, fellowship, and a short devotional time centered on Christ and community.

The gathering will take place on May 23rd from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at 2097 Horacio Lane, Othello, WA. Youth will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the event. We ask that all youth who wish to attend RSVP no later than May 18th.

The planned activities include volleyball, cornhole, foosball, board games, swimming, food, worship, devotional, and a bonfire to close the night.

Rules

Pool & Dress Guidelines

In order to maintain a Christ-centered and respectful environment for everyone attending, we kindly ask youth to use modest and appropriate swimwear during pool activities. Examples of swimwear that would not be appropriate include but isn’t limited to: thong/speedo style swimwear, excessively revealing swimsuits, transparent or inappropriate clothing.
Our goal is not to embarrass anyone, but to encourage an atmosphere of respect, modesty, and consideration for others. Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy and a Christ honoring environment for all youth in attendance.

Safety & Conduct Expectations

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, youth are expected to follow all instructions given by hosting adults and youth leaders throughout the evening. The following will not be permitted during the event:
Horseplay or roughhousing, running near the pool area, diving or unsafe pool behavior, pushing others into the pool, inappropriate language or behavior, disrespect toward leaders, hosts, or other students, and leaving the property without permission.
We ask for all the youth and attending guests to keep the safety and conduct expectations. Our goal is for everyone to have a fun, safe, Christ centered and respectful evening together.
